Safety in Crypto Projects: Evaluate Yourself

Here are the four main rules for safety when dealing with cryptocurrency.

Website Authenticity:

Verify the addresses of company websites and exchanges. Scammers have learned to create counterfeit copies that are difficult to distinguish from the original, but they cannot purchase exactly the same domain. Additionally, scammers create phishing news channels - in this case, you can check the date of group creation.

Seed Phrase:

Seed phrases should be stored in a secure location accessible only to you. It's best not to store the phrase in digital format: in a notebook or diary. If you want the password to always be at hand, store it on your phone in notes, but not in full, always entering 1-2 words from memory manually. Also, never copy the phrase entirely and do not forward it in messages.

Asset Security:

The safest place to store cryptocurrency is in "cold" wallets. These are physical devices that store your private keys offline, without an internet connection, making them immune to hacking and phishing attacks. Another suitable solution is non-custodial wallets - decentralized storage, allowing only the owner to have access keys to the assets.

Data Integrity:

Remember that company employees do not have the right to request your passwords and access to your wallet and account. If you have any doubts when using Collect & Exchange services, contact support chat at collectnexchange.com. The responsibility for your data and assets lies with you.
